Order Processing and Shipping
Once payment has been successfully confirmed, orders placed before 13:00, Monday to Friday, will normally be processed and dispatched from our warehouse on the same working day.
Orders placed after 13:00 CET will be processed on the next working day. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays will also be processed on the next working day.
Same-day processing is subject to payment verification, product availability, and successful order validation.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing your order status and tracking information. Registered customers may also check their order status by logging into their VEL DE REIS account.

Shipping charges for parcels weighing more than 10 kg will be calculated during checkout or communicated separately before dispatch.
Shipping Charges and Delivery Estimates
The shipping rates and delivery periods shown above are estimates. Delivery times are calculated in working days and do not include weekends, public holidays, customs-clearance delays, or circumstances outside the reasonable control of VEL DE REIS or the appointed courier.
Shipping charges displayed during checkout are calculated according to the delivery destination, chargeable parcel weight, parcel dimensions, and available delivery service.
The shipping price displayed and accepted during checkout will be the applicable shipping charge for the order.
VEL DE REIS reserves the right to appoint an alternative courier offering a comparable service where operationally necessary.
Duties, Taxes and Import Charges
Orders delivered outside the European Union—including orders delivered to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, GCC countries, and other international destinations—may be subject to import duties, local taxes, customs-clearance fees, or courier administration charges.
Unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge and must be paid by the recipient.
VEL DE REIS does not control these charges and cannot confirm their amount before delivery. Customers should contact their local customs authority for further information before placing an order.
Import duties, taxes, and customs charges paid directly to government authorities or couriers are generally not refundable by VEL DE REIS.
VEL DE REIS 21-Day Return Policy
We hope that you are completely satisfied with your VEL DE REIS purchase. However, should you change your mind, we offer a 21-calendar-day return period beginning on the day after your order is delivered.
Customers may request a return without providing a reason during this period.
For customers covered by EU or UK consumer legislation, the first 14 days include the applicable statutory right of withdrawal. VEL DE REIS voluntarily extends the return-request period from 14 days to 21 days, subject to the conditions stated in this policy.
This policy does not restrict or replace any statutory consumer rights.
Return Charges for Zones 1–4
A flat €15 return-label fee applies to voluntary returns from Zones 1–4.
The €15 return-label fee will be deducted from the customer’s refund. It applies per returned parcel, not per individual product, provided all returned products are included in the same approved return parcel.
The return-label fee does not apply when:

The product is defective or damaged upon delivery.

VEL DE REIS supplied an incorrect product.
-
VEL DE REIS supplied a size different from the size stated in the customer’s order confirmation.
Customers returning products from Zone 5 or another international destination will be informed of the applicable return-shipping cost before the return label is issued.
No restocking fee is charged for returns that comply with this policy.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, the product must:

Be unworn, other than for reasonable fitting and inspection.

Be unwashed and unaltered.
-
Be free from marks, stains, odours, hair, or other signs of use.

Have all original tags and labels attached.
-
Include all accessories originally supplied with the product.
-
Be returned in its original packaging where reasonably possible.
-
Be accompanied by valid proof of purchase.
Customers may handle and try on products only to the extent reasonably necessary to assess their size, fit, nature, and characteristics.
Where permitted by applicable law, VEL DE REIS reserves the right to reduce the refund if a product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and its value has consequently been reduced.
How to Request a Return
You may initiate a return through your VEL DE REIS account by selecting the relevant order and submitting a return request.

Please include:

The reason for the return, where you wish to provide one.
You are not required to provide a reason when exercising an applicable statutory right of withdrawal.
Photographs are not required for a standard change-of-mind return. However, photographs must be provided when reporting a damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied product.
Once your return request has been approved, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions explaining how and where to send your parcel.
Products returned without a registered return request or without following the return instructions may experience delays and may be returned to the sender where legally permitted.
After notifying VEL DE REIS of your decision to return the products, you must hand the parcel to the appointed courier within 14 calendar days.
Cancellations Before Dispatch
An order may be cancelled without a return-label fee if the cancellation request is received before the order has entered fulfilment or been dispatched.
We cannot guarantee that an order can be stopped after fulfilment has begun. When an order has already been dispatched, it must be returned in accordance with the standard return process, and the applicable return-label fee will apply.
Original Delivery Charges
When a customer cancels and returns an entire order within the applicable statutory 14-day withdrawal period, the standard outbound delivery charge will be refunded where required by applicable law.
Where a customer selected an express, premium, or upgraded delivery service, VEL DE REIS will not refund the additional amount paid above the cost of the least expensive standard delivery service offered at the time of purchase.
The original delivery charge will not normally be refunded when only part of an order is returned.
For voluntary returns requested between day 15 and day 21 under the VEL DE REIS extended return policy, the original outbound delivery charge will not be refunded unless the product was defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.
Requests Made After 21 Days
Voluntary return or exchange requests made after the 21-day return period may be considered at the sole discretion of VEL DE REIS.
Where a late return is accepted, any applicable return-shipping cost and conditions will be communicated to the customer and agreed before the return is processed.
This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights relating to defective, damaged, or misdescribed products.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
Please inspect your order promptly after delivery.
Contact us at info@veldereis.com as soon as reasonably possible if:

The product is defective.

The product was damaged during delivery.
-
You received a product different from the one ordered.
-
You received a size different from the size shown in your order confirmation.
Please provide your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs showing the product, the issue, and any relevant packaging.
Where the issue is confirmed, VEL DE REIS will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law. This may include repair, replacement, exchange, price reduction, or refund.
The cost of returning a confirmed defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied product will be covered by VEL DE REIS.
The 21-day voluntary return period does not limit or replace your statutory rights concerning defective, damaged, or misdescribed products.
Exceptions and Non-Returnable Products
The following products cannot be returned unless they are defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or applicable consumer law provides otherwise:

Personalized products.

Custom-made products.
-
Products manufactured according to the customer’s individual specifications.

Products altered at the customer’s request.
-
Sealed hygiene-sensitive products where the seal has been removed, where applicable.

Promotional gifts supplied free of charge, unless the related qualifying order is also returned.
Clearance, discounted, and promotional products remain eligible for return where required by applicable consumer law and subject to the conditions of this policy.
When a free promotional gift was supplied as part of a qualifying order, the gift must also be returned if the qualifying order is returned in full. Where the gift is not returned, VEL DE REIS may deduct its stated value from the refund where legally permitted.
Exchanges
To secure the required product or size as quickly as possible, we recommend returning the original product and placing a separate order for the replacement.
Once the returned product has been received and approved, the customer may choose, where available, between:

A refund to the original payment method.
-
Store credit.
-
An exchange or replacement, subject to product availability.
Store credit will only be issued when selected or accepted by the customer.
The €15 return-label fee applies to voluntary exchanges from Zones 1–4 unless the exchange is required because VEL DE REIS supplied a defective, damaged, or incorrect product.
Refunds
We will notify you once your return has been received and inspected and will confirm whether the refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless you have expressly selected store credit or agreed to another solution.
VEL DE REIS will process the refund within the period required by applicable law. Once processed by VEL DE REIS, refunds usually appear in the customer’s account within 2–5 business days. Processing times may vary depending on the customer’s bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider.
Where permitted by applicable law, VEL DE REIS may withhold the refund until the returned products have been received or the customer has provided satisfactory evidence that the products have been sent back.
The applicable €15 return-label fee and any legally permitted deductions will be deducted from the refund.
